TROUBLE IN ALBANIA.
Received August 12, 2.25 p.m. ROME, Aug. 11
Sharp Italian warnings against “blind Greek despotism” followed a Stefani News Agency report that Greek terrorists had entered Albania and beheaded the Albanian irredentist Daut Hoggia, allegedly due to his demands for the return to Albania of Ciamuria Province, which was annexed to Greece after the Balkan War of 1913. An earlier message from Rome denied reports of an Albanian uprising, stating that they were “British propaganda.”
