CHRISTIAN SCIENCE CHURCHES.
“Spirit” was tho subject of the Lesson-Sermon in all Churches of Christ, Scientist, on Sunday. Tho Golden Text was Psalms 1.43:10: “Teach me to do Thy will; for Thou art my God: Thy spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness.” Among the citations which comprised the Lesson-Sermon were the following from the Bible: “God is a Spirit: and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth. For as many as aro led by tho Spirit of God, they arc tho sons of God. Tho Spirit itself bearcth witness with out spirit, that wo aro the cnrldren of God.” (John 4:24; Rom. 8:14, 16.) Also the following passages from the Christian Science textbook, “Science and Health With Kev to the Scriptures” by Mary Baker Eddy: “Spirit, Life, Truth, Love, combine as one—and are the Scriptural names for God. All substance. intelligence, -wisdom, being, immortalitv, cause, and effect belong to God. These are His attributes, the eternal manifestations of the infinite divine Principle. Love.” (p. 275,)
