NAVAL AWARDS.
KING’S COUSIN INCLUDED. (British Official Wireless.) Received August 10, 2.10 p.m. RUGBi, Aug. 9. Among the names in a list oi naval awards just published is that of Captain Lord Louis Mountbatten, who is a cousin of the King. Lord Louis lias been mentioned in uespatehes. The description of the deeds for which the decorations have been given illustrates the diversity of duties failing to the Navy. Eor instance, an able-se-aman receives the D.S.iVI. “for determination and resource in effecting the rescue of several n.c.o.’s and men of the King’s Own Royal Regiment when buried in the debris of a bombed house at Dunkirk —an act of bravery which earned special commendation from Lord Gort, the Com-mandcr-in-Ghief of the 8.E.F.”
