The Rightist East Asia Association passed a resolution which was sent to Prince Konoye, Mr Matsuoka, General Tojo and Vice-Admiral Yosliida (members of the Cabinet) demanding the immediate declaration of war on Britain as a retaliation for the British arrests of Japanese.
