“AND SO TO BED.”

SUCCESS REPEATED. The Manaumtu Repertory Society scored another success with the second presentation of J. B. Fagan’s delightful comedy “And So To Bed,” at the Empire Hall, last night. A strong and well-balanced cast, comprising an interesting combination of old and new players, gave a performance creditable both to themselves and their talented producer, Miss Babette Rodgers. Tho stage furnishings and costumes made an admirable background, giving a most convincing 17th century atmosphere, and for this credit is due to Misses K. N. AVoodhouse and M. Arnold (furnishing), Mrs M* D. Kilpatrick (properties), Mr V. R. J. Hean (stage designer), Mrs N. A. Nash, assisted by Miss Cooper and Mesdames Kilpatrick and Christian (wardrobe), Misses S. Kirk and E. Werry (special coiffures). The very pleasing music was arranged by Miss J. Wellwood, the flautist being Miss Feist. Others assisting were' Messrs F. Bendall and P. Moore (scenery and stage management), Mr F. Gatloy (house management). Miss J. Judd (prompt). “And So To Bed” will be presented finally to-niglit.
