BRITISH CABINET

CHANGES PREDICTED. MR CHAMBERLAIN’S ILLNESS. (United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) Received August 3, 1,45 p.m. , LONDON, Aug. 2. . The Daily Telegraph says the fact that Lord Beaverbrook will hold his present office for the time being while a member of the War Cabinet suggests that Mr Churchill is contemplating a measure of Government reconstruction. It is expected that Mr Lloyd George will be offered a post in the reconstructed Government. It is understood Mr Chamberlain’s illness is more serious than is generally realised and it is doubtful whether he will be able to resume his duties as early as was expected.
