DETENTION ORDERS.
Received August 3. 12.35 p.m. LONDON, ‘Aug. 2. Detention orders under the Defence Regulations were made in June against 826 persons, of whom 822 were British subjects. '
Plans by which militia recruits may be temporarily billeted in their homes until additional camp accommodation is available are under consideration, in Australia.
