GAOL SENTENCE.
MOTORIST PUNISHED. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON. Aug. 3. Edward Holmes, a coal dealer, aged 56, who had been twice fined and once imprisoned within a fortnight for similar offences, was to-day sentenced at Petone to a month’s imprisonment for intoxication in charge of a. motor vehicle and prohibited from, driving for three months.
