FURTHER LOANS, Per Press Association. ' WELLINGTON, June 15. Total donations and interest-free loans to the Government for war purposes total £2,081,574, according to an announcement bv the Minister or Finance to-day Included among the interest-free loans are: Lyttelton Harbour Board, £5000; Phillipps and Impev, Auckland, £5000; Bushells, Ltd./Auckland, £SOOO, Herrick Bros., Hastings,, £2000; (all for the duration and six months); Hutt Valley Electric Power Board, £2OOO for the duration ; Geo. Syme and Co., Hawera, £1000; Anonymous, £1000; G.W.W., Christchurch, £1000; Mrs G. Fi Russell, Auckland, £IOOO (all for the. duration and six months). _ Donations totalling £11,500 to the British and French War Funds have been made by John Court, Auckland, H and J Court, Ltd., Hamilton, and J. W. Court, Ltd., Whangarei. The Auckland firm has given £SOOO to the British War Benevolent Fund, £2500 to the Lord Mayor’s Red Cross Fund, and £2500 to the French Red Cross; the Hamilton firm £1250 for comforts and sustenance for men and women of all the British Forces; and the Whangarei firm £250 for the British war Benevolent Fund.
