Mice are still swarming in tlieir millions over a large section of the wheat belt of New South Wales, but reports indicate that the plague is on the decline. Major James Hamilton DavidsonHouston, who was detained under the Defence Regulations after a visit by the policy to Pembury Hall, his home in Kent, has been released ■ unconditionally (states a London report).
