MELBOURNE. June 14. „ Orders now placed in the Commonwealth aircraft factory raise the total to 811 Wirraway machines, costing £8.000.000. _ . , The’Premier (Mr, R. G. Menzies) said to-night that the new orders were placed because it was unlikely that air-, craft promised from overseas would be available. These machines will take the place of the Fairey battles which have been supplied from Britain for bombing and gunnery training. Such of the cable news on this page as is so headed has appeared in the London Times and sent to this paper by special permission. .
