WINTER SHOW
CHILDREN’S DAY, COMPETITIONS IN OVAL. ' The largo attendance at the Winter Show yesterday afternoon was further swelled by a largo number of children, pupils at schools which observed a half-holiday to allow the children to visit the fixture. The scene was one ol animated enthusiasm and the machinery stands, particularly those for agricultural implements and tractors, proved most popular with the juvenile mind. The Show closes to-day at 5.30 p.in., following the big Rugby football attraction, Mauawatu \. Wanganui.
