DEPORTATION OF BRIDGES.
WASHINGTON. June 13. The House of Representatives has passed bv 329 votes to 42 and sent to the Senate a Bill to deport the Labour leader, Harry Bridges. Mr Hamilton Fysh, in urging the House to pass the measure, said: “The time has come to find whether Bridges or: Congress runs the Government. He is a, symbol of the Fifth Column.” A letter from Bridges defending himself was read amid boos and hisses..
