SICK AND WOUNDED FUND.
Per Press Association. WELLINGTON. June 12. A total of £283.000 had been collected for the Sick and Wounded Fundby to-night. AVellington still tope the .ist with £63,000. Canterbury is next with £6OO less, and Otago third with £50,000. The advent ol Italy into the war has made the need for'funds even more urgent, and the organisers hope to raise at least £SOO 000 before the fund closes.
