(From Our Own Correspondent.) SHANNON. June 12. The May medal of the Mangaore Golf Club was won by J. Bovis with a net score of 68. Mrs R. Graham was the winner in the ladies’ section. Next Saturday a bogey match will he played. At the week-end Mangaore will play i oxton at Mangaore. Mr R. F. Downes, who has been on a holiday visit to his parents in Dunedin, has returned home. M» and Mrs Hoggard, of Tuai, are visiting Mrs Hoggard’s parents, Mr and Mrs Small. Winners at the rribbage tourney at Mangaore were Messrs R. Sands, 1. K. Fraser, A. Simcs, A. Calleson, equal, 2.
