THE WAR EFFORT.
(To the Editor.) Sir,—ln New Zealand to-day there are men .unemployed receiving social security. Some enlisted during A**,, and have been passed medically fit for active service, and have had a number of years of • Territorial training. They have “finished on the job” since enlisting. What is wrong r Why are these men not in camp with the Third Expeditionary Force? They still attend drill. Probably some politician will explain, or perhaps some departmental head will tell the public wily this is so. —I am, etc., * PUZZLED. . 12/6/40.
