CLARK—McMILLAN. The engagement is announced between Mavis Maud, only daughter of Mr and Mrs Lloyd McMillan, of Palmerston North, and Robert Harold Alexander, elder son of Mr and Mrs A. Clark, of Palmerston North.
Competition results at the Blind Institute stall at the Winter Show are: Bound work-basket, Mrs Crawford, Whakarongo; darning stool, Mr'Brian Keiller, Fitzherbert: thermos picnic basket, Mrs Richardson, Featherston Street.
