At a shoot held by the Palmerston North Gun Club L. J. Thomson (9 breaks) won the trophies for the second round of the Drysdale Cup competition. E. Sutherland, \V. A. Thomson and F Soivert wore equal second with eight breaks, and W. A. Thomson won the shoot-off for second trophy. Another cup shoot resulted in a tie between N. D. Stubbs, E. Sutherland and L. J. Thomson, and they divided the sweepstake. The 10-bird sweepstake was won by E. Sutherland with a possible, J. T. Ilorno being second with nine breaks! A six-bird double-rise was won by N. Hansen with a possible, second money boing shared by W. A. Thomson, K. Sutherland and 11. Inglis-Joncs.
