GERMAN LOSSES.
TOLL BY R.A.F. (From Daventry.) Since flic invasion of Scandinavia, the Germans have lost at least 70 'planes in and near Norway. ’1 lie number is, however, expected to lie nearer a hundred. In contrast the Allied losses are only about 25 machines. Jt is'emphasised that the real battle for-mastery in the air in Norway lias not yet begun, but the Germans have not shown the advantage they possess in having handy landing grounds and, requiring to fly a smaller distance than the Allied machines.
