RONGOTEA.
(From Our Own Correspondent.) RONGOTEA, April 20. Airs A. J. YVill, who lias not long returned from a visit to the British Isles and the Continent, gave the senior pupils of tho school a most entertaining address on a portion of her travels on Friday afternoon. The speaker described the voyage home to England with calls af Pitcairn Island, Panama, Colon and Curacao, giving many interesting anecdotes of her experiences. The talk also included a description of parts of Holland, a trip down the Rhine and_a tour of the battlefields of France. Ur particular interest to the children were the many photographs, folders and souvenirs displayed, the last including miniatures of Queen Mary’s te.aset, a toby jug and an ivory elephant. At the conclusion of thp address a senior pupil, Jfcirna Daflcr, thanked Airs YY’ill on behalf of the scholars. Mr II V. Cavcrhill (secretary of tho Rongotea Co-op. Dairy Co.i and Airs Cavcrhill are spending a fortnight’s holiday in YVellington.
