MANAWATU HUNT.
MEET AT WAITUNA. The Manawatu hounds met at AVaituna West on Wednesday in good limiting weather. The hounds ran last and true, and an exceptionally good hunt resulted. The day was marred by an unfortunate fall sustained by Mr L. H. Collinson. Those following included: —The huntsman, Mr G. McDowell, on Sir Acre; lion, whips, Mr W. Beatson on Peter Pan, Mr J. Blcnkhorn on Otaura King; master, Mr 8. AlcJ3eth on Jiukaretre; Miss I l '. White on Kopere; Mi6s K, N. Levin on Swallow; Miss Jones on Wanderer; Miss J. Hillas on Peter; Miss 11. Perry on Handyman; Mr H. Bryce on Herangi; Mr J, Crook on Lomond; Mr J. Day on Grey Dawn; Mr W. Lodge on Tribesman ; Mr R. Blenkhorn on Gladium; Mr W. Taylor on Sir Butler; Air P. Taylor on Bay; Air L. H. Colli.ti6on on Petrarch; ATr S. G. Perry on Free Lance; Air J. Beard on Colonel; Air Al. Hocking on Blue Steel. There were also a number of horses, qualifying for hunters’ races including Algy. Harbour Bar, R'inform, Aliclc the Aliller and others. All members of the Manawatu Hunt Club will regret to lear.n of Air Collinson’s accident and wish him a speedy recovery.
