AWAPUNI HOME.
I An enjoyable entertainment was given at the Awapuni Home recently by visitors from the city. The programme comprised: Piano-accordion items. Miss B. Miles; 6ongs, Miss Archer; Irish jig, sailor's hornpipe, Highland dances, tap duo and tap dance, Mi6s P. Over’s pupils; Hawaiian melodics, Mr P. Andre; duet. Miss Over and partner; pianoforte melodies, Mr Bell; humorous recitation, Miss L. Holden (a pupil of Miss F. tVhittaker). Bagpipe accompaniments for the national dances were played by Mr Patterson. Mr H. J. Canton returned thanks for the entertainment.
