.INTEREST!NG ACTIVITY. A year of interesting activity was recorded in the report presented to the annual meeting of the Alanawatu Philatelic Society, held last night. Air S. G. I’arlane presided. The membership stood at 102. representing a decrease of lour on the previous year. Officers were elected as lollow: President, Air S. G. Parlane; vice-presi-dents,' Alessrs F. K. Clayton. R. H. Cate, A. M. Spiltmui, L. C. Bickering and H. E. Allison; committee. A'liss At. Canity and Alessrs P. S. Skoates. A. E. Twiggc, J. B. Green and Af. A. Byers: secretary, Air D. A. Hark ness; treasurer and exchange superintendent. All- t). W. Gillian; auditor. Air J_. Mewett. It was reported that £275 worth of stamps were in circulation through the exchange branch at the present time and that, despite the war. there was no slackening of members’ interest in adding to their collections.
