PROCESSION ORGANISER.
Tn connection with the Centennial celebrations just concluded, the procession which proved such a success was organised by Mr T. K. Hay, borough engineer, who interviewed the business firms seeking their support and made arrangements for the various organisations to take part. Mr Hay spent many hours in perfecting the organisation, and lie is to be congratulated on his achievement. There is no question, that the procession was a. great attraction. The staging of the “naval battle” was inspired by Mr B. J>ewc. who secured the co-operation of the garage owners in the _town. Mr 0. Sporlc marshalled the procession.
