J. R. McKENZIE TRUST.

PERSONNEL ANNOUNCED. WELLINGTON, March 20. An announcement of three appointments to the Trust Board to administer the income from the £IOO,000, which lie recently gave tor charitable and educational purposes, was made by Mr J. It. McKenzie at a meeting of the Wellington Rotary Club, yesterday. Mr J. S. Barton, C.M.G., has been nominated by the Governor-General. Mr C. H. Weston, K.C., has been nominated by the Chief Justice. Colonel F. T. Bowerbank, 0.8. E., Di-rector-General of Medical Services (Army and Air Force), has been selected as the representative of the British Medical Association. Other members of the board are the district governor for the time being of the Rotary Clubs in the Dominionaffiliated to Rotary International and the presidents for the time being of the Rotary Clubs of Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and Dunedin. Welcoming Mr McKenzie, the president of the club, Mr E. P. Hay, said that they had’ all heard of Mr McKenzieA wonderful gift, and they congratulated him upon the thought that prompted it as well as upon the action itself. _ Mr McKenzie said that he was glad to be able to lean on Rotary for the administration of the fund, which was in excellent hands, and he thought the very best results would be obtained. “I thank Rotary for the assistance it is rendering, and for the inspiration which prompted me to make the gift,” ho said.
