NATURE STUDY PROJECT.
An admirable feature of the nature study projects encouraged by the Auckland Education Board in the 800 schools of its wide district is that of propagating native plants. This was launched two and a-liaif years ago as an appropriate activity for marking the Centennial year .It- is conservatively estimated that stocks of seedlings and two-vear-old trees now aggregate 30,000.
