CYCLIST INJURED.

Per Press Association. CARTER! Oi\, l<eb. 21. Serious injuries consisting of extensive lacerations to. the chest, shoulder and face, and shock, were sustained by Mr Herbert Goodin, an elderly farmer, of Park Road, Carterton, yesterday, when ho was struck from his cycle by a laden sheep lorry driven by Walter Pinfold, a carrier. Mr Goodin, who is extremely deaf, was riding towards the town when he was overtaken by the lorry. He was struck by the tray of the lorry and hurled to the ground, being dragged for a distance of five yards. He was removed to hospital in a very serious Condition, but had slightly improved this morning.
