The match played last week between the captain s and the secretary’s teams resulted in the former winning. The best cards handed in Were : Mrs Anderson, 112—36 —76; Mrs Maekay, 107—30—77- Miss M. Anderson, 112—33-y 79. As advertised, members of tho Bulls junior division of the W.D.F.U. will hold a dance in the Bulls Town Ilall on October 25. A professional orchestra has been engaged, and novelty dances will bo an added attraction. The Presbyterian Church Guild met in tho Clifton Hall to receive reports on the recent sale of work. Tho sum of £65 14s was taken, and a hearty expression of appreciation was passed to all those belonging to other churches who had helped to make the effort a success. Members of Marton branch of St. John Ambulance are to visit Bulls to give a demonstration of first aid work to all men intcrostcd.
