“Are Sin, "Disease, and Death Peal?' was the snbiect of the Lesson-Scrmm in all Churches of Christ, Scientist or Sunday. The Golden Text was Psalm; 103:2,3: “Bless the Lord, O my soul and forget not His benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities: Who healeth all thy diseases.” Among tin citation which comprised the LessonSermon were the following from the Bible: “Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins l>e ,as scarlet, they shall bi ns white as snow; though they be red like chimson, thev shall be as wool.” (Isa.1:18). Also the following passages from the Christian Science textbook, “Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures” by Mary Baker Eddy, i “The Christian Scientist’s argument I rests on the Christianlv scientiffi basis of being. The Scripture declares, ■ |‘The Lord He is God (good) ; there is - none else beside Him.’ all reality is ’ in God and His creation, harmonious land eternal. That which He creates is , 'good, and He makes all that is made. I Therefore the only reality of sin, sickness, or death is the awful fact that * unrealities seem real to human, erring belief, until God strips off their dis- ; guise.” (pp. 416,472)
