ST. PAUL’S 'GUILD.
MONTHLY MEETING HELD. St. Paul’s Methodist Ladies’ Guild held its monthly meeting at the residence of Mrs J. Cunninghame, Heretaiinga Street, on Thursday last. Mrs C. Eaton presided over a large attendance. Miss Jones, secretary of the Y.W.C.A., gave an instructive talk on the subject “Women 1 Have Met.” On the motion of Mrs Allen, she was accorded thanks. Mrs H. Green and Mrs C. Woodfield conducted a -successful “bring and buy” stall,'from which the guild funds benefited very much. Final arrangements for the annua flower show were left till a special meeting to be held during October Afternoon tea was served by Mcsdairu?.*K. I>. Wix and Eadcly, senr. There were many apologies for absence, including those of Mesdames W. B. Cameron (president), Stiles, and T. Hastings. -
