The dance at the Oddfellows’ Hall in the evening attracted visitors in large numbers, making the function a fitting climax to a successful season. The trophies won during the year were presented by the Mayor (Mr R. R. Johnston), who, accompanied by the Mayoress, paid a short visit to the dance for this purpose.
