GAOL DISTURBANCE.
INCIDENT AT HOBART. Received September 25. 12.15 p.m. HOBART, Sept. 25. Prisoners in the Hobart Gaol attacked the warders and damaged prison property during a demonstration. A warder was taken to hospital with serious head injuries and a prisoner wms shot and wounded in a leg. The disturbance was quelled without outside help. Many of the gaol windows were broken.
