MUNICIPAL BAND
WILKINSON CUP CONTEST. No fewer than 17 competitors took part in a contest for the Wilkinson Cup, donated by Air Wilkinson, for competition amongst members of the Feilding Municipal Band, on Saturday evening. The adjudicator was Air C. Pike,, of Palmerston North, who was accorded thanks. A slow melody was chosen for the test and the judgeks plaeings are as follow:—G. Smith (handicap 2), 89 points, 1; E. Fleetwood (scr.), 88 points, 2;'T. Fleetwood (scr.), W. Stringer (7), J. Mutch (17), equal, 3.
