The buttons-were won by N. Loot (A grade), M. Klatt (13 grade) and R. Hartley (C grade). The winner of Mr A. Vile’s trophy was AI. Klatt. A gathering of friends, both old and young, of Mr and Airs H. Ellery, took place at their residence ori Monday, the occasion being the celebration of the eoming-of-age of. Vieir second daughter, E!fa. Games, competitions and community singing were held. Competitions were won by Air J. Francois and Air E. Ward, of Palmerston North. After supper, the toast of the guest of honour was proposed bv Mr J.
