IMPORTANT DECREES.
FRENCH PARLIAMENT EXTENDED. OFFSET TO NAZI PROPAGANDA. PARIS, July 29. President Lebrun has signed 80 decrees, including the extension of the liie of Parliament by two years to 1912; the formation of a Ministry of Information in order to offset German propaganda; the control of broadcasting under a central administration to counter Germany’s radio war against France; the extension of counter-es-pionage; the protection of the national defence industries by n tariff. The President has also ear-marked £5,639,000 for the encouragement of larger families by a bonus. The now Ministry of Information and Broadcasting will he under the .supervision of the Prime Minister (M. Daladier). The director of the former section will he France’s famous playwright (AI. Jean Giratidoux) and of tho latter Professor Jean Brillouin.
