NAZI SHIPPING TROUBLES.
STATE MAY ASSIST. LONDON, July 17. It is expected that the State will be compelled to assist the German shipping industry, which is facing acute troubles, declares the Berlin correspondent of the Financial News. “The problems,” be states, “are partly due to the shortage of raw materials and labour for the necessary building programme' and partly because German yards are giving-pref-erence to foreign orders for the purpose of obtaining foreign exchange. “There is delay in replacement and slow and outdated German ships arc enabling foreign owners to capture trade.'’
