CO-ORDINATION OF STRENGTH
BRITAIN AND ALLIES. WARSAW. July 16Sir Edmund Ironside (one of the two British Inspectors of Overseas Forces) will arrive here by air to-morrow. A semi-official statement says that the mission is to co-ordinate the militarystrength of Britain and her European allies and to translate the British promise to aid Poland miltanly into tact. General Sikorski, in an article in the semi-official Press, expresses the opinion that Germany is expected to make a new effort to create a local war with Poland in mid-August. Meanwhile, in Danzig, Professor Burckhart (League Commissioner) conferred with the Senate President (Herr Greiser), the Nazis, in the meantime awaiting Herr Forster’s return from Munich. It is believed ho will return with new instructions from Herr Hitler.
