WOMEN’S DIVISION.
Two women were honoured by being elected life members of the Women’s Division of the Farmers’ Union at the recent annual Dominion conference in Wellington. They are Mrs .T. C. Wickham (Wanganui), president emeritus, and Mrs J. Livingstone (Dannevirke), who have given valuable service. Committees appointed by the division were: —Finance committee. Mesdames Matheson, McNeil. Hawthorne and Preshaw; co-ordinating committee, Mesdames J. C. Wickham, T. 11. Barrer, M.A., and C. C. Jackson. Mesdames F. J. Ryburn, Te Awamutu, W. F. Field, J.P.. Palmerston North, and G. Lamplough. Stratford, for the North Island, and Mesdames J. P. Holdane. Nelson, J. S. Hilyard. Nelson, and B. E. Evans, South Canterbury, for ihe South Island, were chosen for the Advisory Board.
