DEFEAT FOR MUDGWAY.
Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, July 17. Tho defeat of Neville Mudgway, of Auckland, holder of the professional welterweight championship of New Zealand, was a ieuture of the boxing programme to-night. In a match of ten three-minute rounds, the decision was given on points to Johnnie Foster, of Canada.
A professional preliminary saw Bert McKay, the Auckland lightweight, maintain his sequence of victories by the technical knock-out, his opponent being Fred Finnigan, of Wellington.
