PERSONAL.
Rev. J. Hubbard, minister of St. Andrew’s Church, Palmerston North, left last night for Dunedin and will bo absent till the end of next week. The Palmerston North Hospital Board yesterday decided to sent a letter of sympathy to Mr Jos. Batclielar, wishing him a quick recovery. Dir. Batclielar has been confined to his bed for some time with a fractured aim. It was stated that his condition was now Improving at a more satisfactory rate than hitherto. Two motions of sympathy were passed at the monthly meeting of tlie Palmerston North Hospital Board yesterday, one with the family and relatives "of the late Dlr J. H. Perrett. of Sanson, and tlie other with the managing-secretary (Mr. A. J. Pliillipps) and the relatives in the passing of Mrs. A. Phillipps, Dir. Phillipps’s mother.
