EIRE AT WELLINGTON. WELLINGTON. June 10. Gaining a strong hold before it was noticed, tt fire which broke out in the upstairs port ion of a two-storeyed wooden apartment house in the city carlv this mottling blocked I lie main stairway before some of the occupants were cult, forcing them io leap from the window*. Three men and one woman were taken to hospital. They were: Air Arthur Endings, a storeman, severe burns to his right arm ami face; Afr A. Cattermole, lacerated wound to left arm; Air W. L. Alartin, P. and T. cadet, severe punctured ’wound to right arm. Attention was given to AIT A. O’Dea, commercial artist, who received a wound to his right foot. Air and Afrs Cattermole, and Mr Martin were Inter discharged Imm hospital.
