CHURCH PARADE.

AIASON 1C FRATERNITY. A large number of Freemasons from the southern end of the Ruapehu district were present at All Saints’ Church, last night, including representatives from Alarton, 1* Gilding. Rongotea, Koxton, Ashhurst, and Palmerston North. Considering the inclemency of the weather, the attendance was very good. Rev. AY. Raine, Grand Chaplain, preached the sermon, being assisted nv llev. Canon CL A’. AYoodwanl, and Rev. D. do Candole. Tho Lessons were read by AA or. Bro. G ■ .G. Priest, representing the English Constitution, and Provincial Grand Ala.ster C. D. Eraser. The first Lesson was taken Irom Ecclesiastes, chapter 12, and tlie second Irom Corinthians I. chapter 13. Rev. Air Paine's sermon was based on Hebrews: “Thou shall be shaken.” Three hymns were sung and tiie choir rendered the anthem “0 Gladsome Light, O Masonic service has been held annually, and took place at St. Andrew’s Church last year. At the conclusion of last night’s service, the opinion was expressed by some members that consideration might he given to the holding of it every six months.
