Evidence that plans for the resumption of the Pan-American Airways service from Sun Francisco to New Zealand are nearing fruition is supplied by tlie arrival to-day of three officials. Alessrs D. Walker, A. .T, Swesey and 11. L. Walsh. Air Walker lias been appointed airport manager at Auckland and flight relief officer for PanAmerican operations south of Canton Island. Air Swesey will be chief mechanic at Auckland, and Air AYulsh communications department agent, in charge of the wireless station. Air Walker was formerly airport manager at Wake and Midway Islands and at Treasure Island, San Francisco.
