The monthly meetinn of tin; I’apatawa "Women’s Institute was well attended. Mrs Gloadow presided lor the opening formalities ami then Miss Goldsworthy took the chair, it bo inn juniors' day. and the juniors were set down to entertain the seniors. Winners of competitions were Mrs Hutchinson, Miss Martin, and Miss Gilbert. This was followed by a roll call for “the lumpiest moment of one’s life." The juniors contributed several sunns, all present joiuinn in the choruses. The chief competition was for ;> 21b jam tin of berries, arranged for effect. Mrs Halpin boinn the judne. The winners were Mrs liradloy and Miss Gilbert., seniors and juniors respectively,
