OBITUARY.
MR JOHN WISCHNEWSKY. Thu death occurred recently at Auckland of Air John Wisehnewskv, who was well known in connection with building activities in i’nhncrston North until his retirement at a comparatively early age through continued ill-health. The late Air Wi.seh ttc'v.sky, who was keenly interested in music, was for a number of years associated with the Palmerston North Municipal Band, lie also took an active part in the St. Vincent de Paul Society and for a lengthy period was it member of the A1.U.1.0.0.E. Four years ago the deceased gentleman, acting on medical advice, went to reside in the Auckland district, where his death occurred on May 12 following an tion.Requiem Mass was celebrated at. St. Patrick’s Church, Palmerston North, by Aery Rev. Alonsignor AlaeMnnus prior to the interment at Pahiatua, the pall-hearers including representatives from Hie above societies. A family of four daughters are loft to mourn Mr AVise’lmew.sky s passing, his wife, formerly Miss Alarm Sullivan, having predeceased him live years ago.
