(From Our Own Correspondent.) UTUWAI, June 6. Air Propter, senr., is a Foxton visitor to Umutoi, where ho is spending a short holiday with his son, Air C. Procter, of the school house. Aliss J. Bindon has returned to Hamilton after spending a holiday with relatives in Umutoi. The friends of Aliss Laurie Clieyne, of Piripiri, who is at. present an inmate of a Palmerston North hospital, will bo pleased to learn that- she is progressing favourably alter her serious illness. The hall was the scene of a jolly function recently when the Hall Committee hold their first dance for the season. Credit is due to the energetic committee. Coloured streamers and greenery made a dainty background for the dancers. Music was supplied by Afr J. Hansen and Air It. Prince.
