“MASSKERADE 1939.”

The Massey College students will present their second dazzling capping revue at the Opera House on luesday. June 13 next, for a brief season of three nights. Last year’s show, it will be remembered, was a sensation and the season bad to be. extended. Prospective patrons are assured that Ihe coming production not only maintains but very definitely transcends the standard of the initial presentation. .Miss “Mnsskernde, 1939,” and you will be out of the after-dinner conversation lor months to come! As before, the programme will take the form of a non-stop variety show. Ballots and a few of the newest, songbits of the day make a racy introduction to the evening’s fun. A burlesque of Shakespeare’s tragedy, “Macbeth and the Three Witches,’-’ is a more than worthy successor to the memorable “Romeo and Juliet” which caused such a sensation last year. Rounding out the generous programme is “So AVhnt and the Seven Gawks” or “Large White and tile Seven Snorts,” a political satire conforming to flio best Tnrsity traditions. Particular attention has been paid to the music, singing, costuming, and staging of the revue, and patrons are assured of a thoroughly entertaining evening. Popular prices will be charged, and the box plans will open at Collinson and Cunninghame’s tomorrow, Friday, June 9. It. is essential to reserve, and there is no extra charge.
