AWAPUNI HOME.
VISIT BY MUSIC CIRCLE,
On Monday afternoon the music circle of the Townswomen’s Guild, under the direction of Airs H. D. Howley, visited the Awapnni Home and ent.ertfl.ined the inmates with an enjoyable programme. The matron (Aliss I>. Wright) extended a welcome to the visitors, who contributed the following items:
Songs. Mesdamos Sadd, Howley, Pascoe and AV. R. Bigham ; elocution. Airs Fowles; pianoforte solos, Afrs Howley. Glee and community singing was led by Afrs Bigham.
A vote of thanks was proposed l>v Air H. J. Canton and carried by acclamation.
