The fourth and final match of the Eastern Suburbs (Sydney) League Football team’s Auckland tour was played a,t Carlaw Park yesterday against Manukau and resulted in a comfortable victory for the visitors by 2.1 points to 10. Approximately 8000 spectators witnessed a fast, open match in which the Sydney team clearly showed its superiority. CANTERBURY COMPETITION. Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, April 16.
