Gatherings recently organised in aid of the baby carnival fund were a dance and a euchre tournament The dance was held by the country committee, music being supplied bv Alcssrs G. Franke and Berry, while Air G. Griffin was the AI.C. Competitions were won by Air K. Fear and Miss W. Wales. At the euchre tournament, the men’s prize was won by Air R. Lewis and the women's bv Mrs T. Aloptgomcrie, (ho consolation prizes goinp to Mrs A. Strawbridge and Mr J. Ilartigan.
